THE AFTERIMAGE TEAM
This is us so far. As Sing Lit Station’s publishing arm, we’re making magic and reporting directly to our presiding Executive Committee within the SLS Board of Directors.
Chief Publisher
Pooja Nansi is a poet, educator and former director of the Singapore Writers Festival. With three collections of poetry to her credit, Pooja’s work explores themes of identity, migration and feminism. In 2024, Pooja was made Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture.
As AFTERIMAGE’s Chief Publisher, she oversees its pre- and post-production processes, taking charge of the publishing arm’s overarching curatorial and strategic plans.
Managing Editor
Daryl Qilin Yam is a writer, editor and arts organiser. He is the award-nominated author of four works of fiction, the latest of which is the short story collection Be Your Own Bae (2024). He co-founded Sing Lit Station in 2016, and received the Young Artist Award in 2025.
As AFTERIMAGE’s Managing Editor, he undertakes the entirety of the publishing arm’s pre-production processes, including manuscript acquisition, content editing, book design and book production.
Sales & Marketing Manager
Judith Ramirez has a background in publishing, marketing, and the psychology of the arts and creativity. Her work explores aesthetic experiences in the literary arts and how creativity enhances and deepens the engagement with the arts.
As AFTERIMAGE’s Sales & Marketing Manager, she manages the inventory, sales, distribution and publicity of our books; the running of our Marketing & Communications channels; and the general upkeep of our (forthcoming!) webstore.
OUR INTERNSHIP
Looking for work experience? We’re very type A and are essentially looking for organised, capable and trustworthy university students to assist the team with our tasks and duties during the 2027 summer season (Apr-Jul) and fall (Aug-Nov) season, whether it be providing structural suggestions for manuscripts-in-development, preparing copy for the next issue of OFTHENOW, or prepping our next slate of posts on our Instagram.
